Biometrics When Filing Online
When you file your I-589 online through USCIS, you will automatically receive an appointment for your biometrics (fingerprinting). This information will be available through your online USCIS portal or you will be notified by email. It is very important to attend your biometrics appointment otherwise your work permit clock will be stopped.
